Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages is committed to ensuring the safety of our associates and supporting our communities, providing relief and ensuring the availability of beverages for our customers.

As an Essential Business in the supply chain infrastructure, we have taken steps to make sure our associates are safe while operating under a public health order. Please find below a summary of some of the key actions we’ve taken, including but not limited to:

Actions & Policies

  • Established COVID-19 protocols, processes and policies
  • Procured critical supplies including sanitation, cleaning materials, wipes, face covering masks and established a distribution shipping operation to send materials and supplies to facilities
  • Developed a Sanitation Protocol for facilities
  • Establishing a Thermometer Monitoring Program and training protocols
  • Implemented workplace guidelines following CDC guidance to mitigate spread of the virus (i.e. washing hands, maintaining 6 feet social distancing, instructing to seek medical advice if employee not feeling well and encouraging to stay home if feeling sick or exhibiting any symptoms)

Employee Safety & Well-Being

  • Created People Leader Guide and Team Site to inform our frontline leaders
  • Established a People Leader Phone Call 3 times a day to receive feedback
  • Provided product for associates to take home to families
  • Implemented Temporary Pay Adjustment change for frontline
  • Implemented Temporary Paid Time Off policy change
  • Implemented Remote Work Location guidance for associates who can perform 100% of role from remote location
  • Supporting restaurant customers who are moving to a Drive Up/Take Out concept to provide a meal(s) to frontline team members
  • Deployed 24-hour toll-free number for associates to ask questions regarding COVID-19
  • Leveraging our Employee Assistance Program to assist leaders in managing team member concerns

Employee Communications:

  • Deployed “Essential Business” designation cards per guidelines from US Homeland Security
  • Monitoring and reviewing federal, state and local public health orders, executive orders, shelter in place orders so can inform our team members on the latest restrictions and guidelines
  • Updated toll-free Facility Update call tree to use if we need to record a message for associates at any location
  • Issuing Special Bulletins to all associates to keep them informed of developments
  • Issuing Flyers with helpful information and resources about the COVID-19 to print to share with associates to take home to families
